A 'whim' is defined as a sudden desire or change of mind.

We matched on Facebook dating around Fall of 2021. He was in El Centro, CA at the time and we messaged and videochatted daily until the first official date. Our first date was at Osaka Ramen and Sushi on Nov 19, 2021. Tay, wore a hoodie (because of course) in his signature color; Black, tapped on my un-tinted driver side window in a dark vacant parking lot at night. So as our eyes met he first time, I was terrified, in mid scream. After dinner at the Exxon gas station nearby, he tried let me down easy and told me he was going to Kuwait for a YEAR. On the inside of his 350z he tried to assure me we would find a way to stay in contact because he still wanted me in his life. Needless to say, my response to this was cut short by the highly flammable situation at hand while the gas overflowed and started flooding the area!

I can't say exactly what, when or if Tay decided not to go to Kuwait when we left each other that night, but somehow Kuwait never really came up much again after that. 3ish years later we went out for sushi at Yama Chens on March 22, 2024 & as we were leaving, he opened my car, like always, on his knee.

Although, Tay was not one to ever 'put all his eggs in one basket' our lives, and everything we felt that night (from Fight or Flight to bursting into flames at a gas station on our first date) that our story was and still is MORE THAN JUST A WIMB - ERLY.
